At Human Interaction Foundation, our mission is to advocate for a better society one family at a time,
one individual at a time, one story at a time.
We educate, raise awareness and give voice to the voiceless with high-quality, engaging films that inspire and move audiences. We believe in the power of storytelling and strive to bring unique and compelling stories to the screen.
Human Interaction Foundation has produced three successful film-documentaries with the aim to educate the mass, empower communities, families and individuals.
A documentary film illustrating the problematic of family dislocation when the husband lives in Haiti and the other half resides abroad with the children. A way of life which is the direct consequence of the different political-economical-social instabilities in Haiti.
This project has successfully navigated the festival circuit and received numerous awards and accolades.
In 2019, “Cassures; nos familles entre Haïti et ailleurs” was awarded the Tin Medal by the Arts, Sciences et Lettres Academy in Paris, France.
In 2016, “Cassures: nos familles entre Haïti et ailleurs” received the Best Documentary Award at the Wellington Film Festival.
“Exiled Inland: Cassures II" delves into the emotional and challenging topic of family dislocation, aiming to foster an informed and rational dialogue on this critical issue. The focus of this film is on house workers in Haiti, women and men who leave the country in search of better opportunities, when their children are left behind. . The documentary film presents this reality of family life and the traumas it brings for the children, the family and society at large, too often passed over in silence and unfortunately accepted.
This documentary also discusses the treatment given to domestic staff.
This project has successfully navigated the festival circuit and received numerous awards and accolades.

2021: Best Director. Tagore Film Festival, India.
2024: Best Producer. New York Cinema Awards, USA.
The filming of Ayiti Pap Peri started in 2019. The filmaker along with her crew followed professionals who were living abroad at the time of the deadly 2010 earthquake who decided to go back to Ayiti and work for this country despite numerous challenges. Ayiti Pap Peri traveled throughout Ayiti. The film shows the human and economic potential in the country. The film-documentary gives a glance of the contribution of the diaspora while highlighting the dedication of working class women and men in education, agriculture, tourism. This is a film-documentary to give hope, for an awakening of the conscience while it is not ignoring the elements that keep Ayiti in this category of poorest country in the hemisphere.
